Chris is an IP Lawyer that focuses mainly on patent prosecution and licensing in the life science domain. Chris also works with our clients on trademark, design and copyright matters.
Chris graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in May 2020. He previously completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 2015 and a Master of Science degree in Experimental Medicine in 2018; both were completed at McGill University. His graduate research focused on the role of arsenic immunotoxicity in cardiovascular disease and has co-authored three peer-reviewed scientific journal articles.
In addition to his academic work, Chris volunteered with the wills clinics at Access Pro Bono and AIDS Vancouver, as well as with the Access Pro Bono Civil Chambers Program. He also served on the board of Start Proud, an LGBTQ networking organization for students and young professionals. In his spare time, Chris is an avid cross-country and downhill skier in the winter, cyclist throughout the year, and a dinghy sailor when the wind cooperates.
